Touch Football mega thread

There was a field not too far from Phoenix Effect that was too small for all the various sports leagues in the city to have snapped up for weekend practices or games, but big enough for the fairly flexible game of touch football, so that's where they played. People came and went for most of the afternoon, though the game itself only lasted an hour and change. Almost everyone played, but there were several people watching, choosing to cheer or heckle or talk amongst themselves as it suited them.

When everyone got together enough to actually start the game, they divided into two teams, with Matteo as the referee. Zach's team was made up of Hazel, Max, Hanne, Nori, Nick, Alex, and Oliver; Kyle had Elspeth, Joel, Carrie, Caleb, Irene, Sam, and Elena on his team. It wasn't a blowout, but Zach's team won by a few touchdowns and were crowned the victors. Despite a couple minor accidents, everyone came out of it in one piece. More or less.

Nick loved that this game had been dreamed up, that he got to play, that he had spent part of his day running around in the sunshine making eyes at beautiful women. This was Nick’s perfect day. When the woman from the field made her way over, well, could a day get more perfect? Because it just did. “Looks like i’m saying hi,” he replied with a grin. It was clear he was doing the other thing, too.

"I'm Elspeth." Names had been bandied about all afternoon, but there hadn't been any formal introductions, probably because like half the people already knew each other. Also it was only polite to introduce yourself to the guy you'd been thinking about all afternoon. Especially if you were going to follow it up with: "Any interest in undressing me for real?"

Exactly what she was looking for. "That's good, because I'm free for...the rest of the weekend, actually, and I was thinking I could use a little less football and a little more touch."

“I have pretty good hands,” Nick replied, spreading his hands out in front of Elspeth to show her. “I think they can help you out.”

"That is a relief." Elspeth smiled as she twined one of her hands with his and stepped into his space. "Because I was going to be so disappointed if you had that panty-melting smile going on but no follow-through."

“Girl,” Nick replied, grinning as he looked Elspeth up and down, winding his free arm around her waist, “I can follow through.”

"God, who gave you the right to be this hot?" she asked, laughing delightedly. "My place isn't far, if that works for you. And if I can keep from mauling you until we get there."

Nick grinned and playfully nuzzled her neck. “Your place works for me. You can maul me on the way.”

If only public decency laws didn't keep her from throwing him down on the grass right here. Damn. Elspeth bit teasingly at his shoulder and then moved away, much as it killed her, to tug him in the direction of her apartment.

"Only when I'm lucky and the universe is being nice to me." Nothing else was going entirely right, but this definitely was. "Is this not usually how you meet your women?"

“I meet women everywhere,” Nick admitted, with a little ego but mostly with laughter. “I’m lucky all the time.”

Elspeth laughed and stopped walking, giving absolutely zero fucks that they were in the middle of the sidewalk because she was busy pressing close and stealing a heated kiss. "That doesn't surprise me at all. It's a little harder for me to meet women, but only a little," she added shamelessly.

Nick would kiss a beautiful woman on any sidewalk, but he was still delighted by this development. "I bet it isn't hard for you to meet anyone at all."

"You're right and you should say it." She grinned as she started walking again; she really needed to get him home before she changed her mind on public indecency charges being a bad idea. Luckily it wasn't too much longer before she was letting them into her place. "Just a heads up, I have a roommate, but she's probably working and also she's really chill anyway, so."

"It surprises me more when people don't, honestly," she said, kicking off her shoes just inside the apartment door because they probably had grass and dirt in them. Elspeth led him to her bedroom, stripping off her shirt even before she leaned back against the door to shut it. "I don't mind getting naked with an audience, I just prefer it not to be a surprise one." Too much risk of killing the mood.

She'd known wearing a cute bra to play football had been a good decision, even if it wasn't a remotely practical one. "I am so, so happy to oblige." Elspeth hooked a finger into the waistband of his pants and pulled him closer.

Nick grinned, wrapping his strong arms around Elspeth like it was the most natural thing in the world as he kissed her.

Hell yes. He had amazing arms, she'd been picturing him doing just this (and a whole lot else) with them since she'd first laid eyes on him. She kissed him eagerly, seaming her body against his.

Nick ran a hand over Elspeth's back, curved over her ass, brushed against the side of a breast. She was hot as hell, and the kiss wasn't bad either.

He was right about having good hands; Elspeth was living for every touch. She reached back to unclasp her bra with one hand, though for the moment it remained mostly on, trapped between their two bodies.

“You gotta get this off,” Nick said with an easy laugh, making a little more space between he and Elspeth so he could help remove the rest of her bra, run his hands over her breasts.
