Oliver
Being away from Oliver was difficult; at some point, maybe, a 24, 36 hour separation wouldn't ache. But right now, it did, and maybe that was because it was new love, or co-dependency, or any number of reasons, but it was one thing Sam didn't really wish to rationalize. Sam (and Scott, especially Scott) were prone to rationalization above all us.
With Oliver, he tried just to feel.
Sure, they had already seen each other again after Sam's overnight -- Sam had stopped by Oliver's studio as promised, for a quick hello and a kiss and a cup of coffee -- but a quick, public moment like that couldn't replace the moment they were both at home together, alone, with nothing to do but be with each other. It was the only company Sam wanted.
Somewhere, in the back of his mind, was a pang of guilt for not devoting his spare time to solving their 'situation' -- but they really didn't appear to be in danger, and the situation could wait.
Right now, Sam was coming home to the man he loved, who promised to wait by the door for him. To test that theory, he knocked on the door rather than opening it himself.

"Not even now?" Sam was very moved and flattered and pleased, obviously, but also, Oliver was currently straddling him.

"One reason." Which Sam would now provide by holding Oliver by the back of his beck and pulling him in close and kissing him deeply. A pretty convincing reason, he thought.

There it was: the alchemy that occurred when Oliver and Sam fell into kissing each other, the chemistry you could drown in. It really was Sam's favorite thing. He only pulled back because, well, in this instance it had been a reason, not an activity. "Did I convince you?"

Well, if Oliver insisted! Sam could never turn down this kind of kiss, he existed in part because Oliver wanted to kiss him like this, probably, and he couldn't tease Oliver about it when it was so essential and perfect. Sam kissed back with his own hunger, a hand under Oliver's shirt, pressing into him to keep him close.

Yes, Sam would take it off. He didn't waste valuable seconds considering it, he immediately tugged the shirt over Oliver's head and sure, he placed it gently over the arm of the couch to keep it safe and unwrinkled, but that took barely no time at all; how could it, when Sam needed to look at Oliver instead. "So handsome,' he murmured, half to himself.

"Thank god for that, the last thing I want to do is share you." Sam was an only child, after all -- he'd never had to share. His fingers were starving for Oliver's chest, exploring it like it was brand new.

"Not even for a heartbeat." At which point, Sam pressed his hand against Oliver's heart. "You belong to me."

"Sam is fine," he promised with a quick smile, and kept his hand in place as he kissed Oliver again, because Oliver was his.

"Also very fine-- you're using my tricks against me," Sam pointed out, but that didn't mean he didn't enjoy it; he shivered involuntarily.

"You're just being hot." He really, really was. Sam plunged into another kiss, hand still pressed Oliver's heart. Maybe it would jump a little.

There it was -- a change in Oliver's heartbeat. Sam had caused that. Maybe that happened often, but it had happened right now, and Sam had felt it, and it was incredible. Could this kiss be deeper, more searching? If so, Sam would make it so. He wanted the world to shrink to just he and Oliver alone.

Oliver was so amazing, so alive, under Sam's hands, and it made Sam feel more alive too. He felt like he was humming with energy, caught up in Oliver's rocking, in the way he held onto Sam's hair. Sam pressed his thigh up against Oliver, meeting his motion, and he couldn't break this kiss, he couldn't. His hand wandered over Oliver's back, tracing his spine down, and down, and down.

Oliver was so responsive like this. It was as though no single thing Sam did with his hands, his mouth, any part of his body went unnoticed. Which meant that Sam always wanted to do more and more, to get more and more from him. He shifted a little to kiss at Oliver’s neck, to bite teasingly at his jaw, and, of course, to command into his skin, “you need to be naked now.”
