Seth might spend too much time at Phoenix Effect looking at men. But if you looked at it another way, he was an excellent patron of local business. He was stopping by the coffee shop every day now, in late afternoons and early evenings, sipping smoothies and looking at the other customers.

On this particular afternoon, he was awarded by a very particular gift. When the man turned to face Seth’s vague direction, he raised his drink in a wave and a salute, giving him a smile. It was the kind of flirting someone could ignore if they were straight or married or busy, but it was clear enough, he figured, to capture any interested parties.

Caleb stepped in to Seth, one hand resting lightly at Seth's hip. "Then consider your offer accepted."

Oh, this was fun. Seth leaned in very close, as though to kiss Caleb, but instead just said quietly — their lips all but touching — “it’s a lucky day for both of us.”

It was exceedingly tempting to close that tiny distance and press their lips together, but Caleb drew it out just a little longer instead. “Only if you get us where we’re going,” he said lowly, taking a step back.

Well, Seth was impressed. “Follow me, duckling,” Seth grinned. And it really wasn’t far to his apartment, and it was painless getting into the building, and it was easy getting Caleb into the apartment proper, and as soon as the door was closed behind them, Seth pulled his shirt over his head.

Thank god. He’d been thinking about it since Seth had first mentioned, oh so casually, that he planned on kissing Caleb later, and now he finally could: Caleb framed Seth’s face in his hands and kissed him, slow and hot, no hesitation. Some things you didn’t forget how to do.

No, this was all in perfect working order. Seth hummed with pleasure, pouring himself into that kiss. He hasn’t expected Caleb to make a first move, and it was even hotter that he had; this was a great kiss, better than Seth had expected.

It was, perhaps, a little more intense than he'd meant for it to be, but Caleb needed this too much to hold anything back. And any time a thought tried to intrude, a thought that was anything other than how hot Seth was or how good this felt, he just took the kiss further.

"He has hidden depths," Seth murmured approvingly, even though the cool of it all was somewhat undermined by how much Seth could barely catch his breath. This... was hot. "Get undressed, Caleb."

Seth was so sure of himself that he made bossing Caleb around sound like he was doing Caleb a favor, and it was working for him. He bent down to loosen the laces on his shoes enough to push them off before standing again and pulling his shirt roughly over his head.

"God, you're hot," Seth told Caleb, and yes, he still wanted him to undress, but he also wanted to kiss Caleb again while he could, because he was enjoying the view. After, he said "Keep going."

Between the kiss and the way Seth was looking at him and, god, Seth's voice, Caleb's eyes were dark and his heart was pounding in his chest as he pulled open his fly and pushed his jeans over his hips without hesitation.

"Well hello," Seth said in a low, dark voice, "Look at you." This man was full of surprises.

Caleb wasn't shy about his body, but it had also been a long time since he'd thought of it as anything more than strictly functional, the thing that got him from point A to point B and did everything he needed to in between. This...this was a good reminder that it was meant for more than that. "I'd rather look at you."

Oh, it was meant for so much more than that. Seth was so turned on just by looking at him! And of course he obliged, shucking his clothing which as much elegance as he could find, which was a reasonable amount, thank you very much. "Do you like what you see?" he asked, but Seth was an actor and it was contractual that he looked good without much clothing, so he was pretty sure the answer would be yes.

"You know you're beautiful." Caleb couldn't even be annoyed by it, because the hints of arrogance were sexy, and he was far too turned on to be annoyed by anything anyway. He curved his hand against the side of Seth's neck and kissed him again, hungry and wanting but letting Seth take the lead.

"I do, but now so do you," Seth explained, but he was happy to give himself over to that kiss, to the way that Caleb was unfurling before his eyes. Not every surprise hookup rose (ahem) so admirably to the occasion. "Now, do you have any requests?"

"I do." And what a great thing to know. He could tell already that he was going to spend a lot of time thinking about how beautiful Seth was. What he didn't know was how to articulate the amorphous desire he felt, the overwhelming but unspecific need for anything, everything that Seth would give him. "Do your worst," Caleb replied, a challenge more than a request.

"I don't do worst," Seth correct. "Only best." And really, where to start with this gorgeous specimen? Seth looked him over in consideration, surged in for a hard kiss, because he wanted to, and because it was his last chance to do so for a minute: when the kiss broke, he dropped comfortably to his knees.

Caleb laughed lowly. "I believe it." There was a difference between empty boasting and a well-deserved ego, and he was convinced that Seth had the latter in spades, especially when just the sight of Seth dropping to his knees made Caleb groan. "How are you this sexy? Jesus."

"It's a gift." Seth grinned up at him, devilish. "How do you do it? Tell me while my mouth is full." And he took Caleb into his mouth, and it was glorious.

God, that grin just killed him. "I don't know but thank god for it if it gets me this," he answered, and what was even the question? Caleb was so hard he couldn't think, and glorious was exactly the word for it. Seth was glorious.

Yes, Seth was very happy down here. He braced himself with a firm hold on Caleb's fucking incredible carved sculpture of a thigh, feeling the tense, alive muscle there, and that was far more erotic than it had any right to be. But so was this, the taste and feel of Caleb in his mouth, as he worked his tongue around Caleb's length, as his mouth moved slicky, intuitively, over him. This was absolutely one of Seth's happiest places.

Caleb was lost in it. His hands flowed over Seth's head and shoulders, fingers grazing his cheeks or the back of his neck. Just needing to touch him, to anchor himself. Seth was incredible, pulling low moans out of him, making his abs tighten, winding everything upward.

Seth loved those touches, telegraphing his approval with encouraging sounds, with increased pressure and speed. He would keep going until Caleb unwound completely; it was a pleasure getting to take him there.

Caleb held on as long as he could, never wanting that slick, hot, too-good feeling to end, until he had to give in, his hand gripping the back of Seth's neck as he was brought to shuddering release.
